‘Drinking it daily?’ Tweeps on Thami Mngqolo holding bottle of wine

On 18 May, mischievous Twitter users were unprovoked and decided to circulated a photo of South African actor Thami Mngqolo looking slightly different from his usual onscreen self and have since roasted him uncontrollably online.

The former Generations actor apparently has his own wine now, Twitter investigators said. It is apparently named Mjita Wines. Mngqolo has been trending online since Thursday evening. A picture of him holding a bottle of Mjita Wines has been a hot topic on Twitter streets. This is because after seeing the actor’s picture, Tweeps could not believe how the former Generations actor looked like.

Tweeps were convinced that Mngqolo had either been drinking too much and his face had started to show for it or he was just heavily intoxicated the moment the picture was taken. The online users have since reshared Mngqolo’s picture causing it to go viral. Meanwhile, other Twitter users decided to do what they do best and gladly rushed to the comment section to continuously roast his appearance.

Generations was cancelled and replaced by Generations: The Legacy. Mngqolo and a few other popular faces from the telenovela were let go. Mngqolo was said to have recently gotten candid as to what actually happened, Briefly reported. He was reportedly interviewed on the King David Studio podcast where he was quoted as saying,

“We did not realise they could do that.”
