Pictures of American actor Jonah Hill looking rather slim compared to how he usually looks on screen have been trending on Twitter recently and have left Tweeps divided in the comment section.

Twitter has been buzzing since Hill’s pictures spread like wildfire online. The comedian-actor is best known for being the funny chubby guy in movies like The Watch, 22 Jump Street, Get Him To The Greek alongside Russell Brand, and more.

When Tweeps came across photos of Hill having lost a visible amount of weight, they were pleased to see him slimmer and said he looked much healthier. Others blamed the industry for having “bullied” him to lose weight. Meanwhile, the rest of the online users were convinced that Hill had lost the weight to prepare for a new role in a movie.

The famous actor has a history of transforming his weight to play the part. In 2015, he was said to have managed to lose 40 lbs for his character on War Dogs, US Weekly reported.

Speaking about his weight transformation in 2021, Hill was quoted as saying,

“I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid-30s, even in front of family and friends… the media tries to play me by stalking me while surfing and printing photos like this, and it can’t phase me anymore [which] is dope. I’m 37, and [I] finally love and accept myself.”
