‘Cruel world’: Tweeps mourn the death of DJ Sumbody
Tweeps are mourning the death of musician and businessman DJ Sumbody, who passed away on Sunday morning 20 November.

Tweeps are heartbroken after learning about the death of musician and businessman Oupa John Sefoka, popularly known as DJ Sumbody, who passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning (20 November).
RIP DJ SUMBODY
Tweeps are mourning the death of DJ Sumbody, who passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning (20 November). His family confirmed his death via a statement only revealing that an “unfortunate incident” led to his death.
“Artist and Musician DJ Sumbody has died,” read the statement.
“Details of his untimely death cannot be released but the artist named Oupa John Sefoka allegedly ran into an unfortunate incident that led to his passing in the early hours of Sunday morning, 20 November 2022,” the statement continued.
DJ Sumbody’s management team also said that the details surrounding his death cannot be disclosed. This is because investigations are still ongoing.
“The Sefoka family and Sumsounds Music Management have kindly requested privacy during this difficult time and will release a statement in due course”.
