‘Self-inflicted pain’: Tweeps drag Black Coffee over abuse claims
Twitter users are dragging DJ Black Coffee after he opened up about the abuse allegations levelled against him by Enhle Mbali.

Twitter users are slamming South African-born DJ Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, popularly known as Black Coffee, after he tweeted about the abuse allegations made against him – on Twitter on Thursday 29 December.

DJ Black Coffee opened up about his estranged wife – Enhle Mbali accusing him of abuse via a tweet on Thursday 29 December. Enhle accused the DJ of physically abusing her at her birthday party in March 2021.
She filed for a protection order but she revealed that it was denied in May 2021. Black Coffee explained that the accusations left a heavy void in his heart, which he can’t shake off.
“The day my ex accused me of physically harming her,nothing was the same. It has left a heavy void in my heart a void I can’t shake off.I lost a big part of myself,no court of law could ever fix the pain and shame I still carry today,” he wrote.
The DJ went on to call Enhle “dark and irresponsible” for the abuse allegations.
“My late father was abusive,to see her continue to ride that wave as a victim using me and using some of my tweets about it on that swimwear as an activist is quite dark and irresponsible.She knows people who abused her she must confront them and leave me alone,” he wrote.
