Tributes pour in following Costa Titch’s passing
#RIPCostaTitch: Mzansi has been paying tribute to amapiano and hip hop artist Costa Titch after he collapsed and died on stage on Saturday.

The South African music scene is mourning yet another musician following the untimely passing of rapper and dancer Costa Titch — real name Constantinos Tsobanoglou on Saturday, 11 March.
The 28-year-old passed away at the Johannesburg Ultra Music Festival on Saturday after collapsing on stage.

FAMILY CONFIRMS COSTA TITCH’S PASSING
In a brief statement, the amapiano and hip hop artist’s family confirmed his passing. The Tsobanoglou family also thanked the emergency responders and those who assisted him during his final moments.

“Death has tragically knocked at our door. Robbing us of our beloved son, brother and grandson, Constantinos Tsobanoglou (28), who South Africa had come to love and idolize under his stage name “Costa Titch”. It is with deep pain that we find ourselves having to acknowledge his passing at this time.
“We are thankful for the emergency responders and all those who were present in his last hours on this earth. As a family, we are faced with a difficult time as we try to make sense of what has befallen us and ask that we be afforded the time and space to gather ourselves,” the family said.

TRIBUTES POUR IN
Industry colleagues, friends and fans have been paying tribute to the musician after his sudden death.
Hip hop DJ Miss Pru wrote: “Such sad news to wake up to 💔. My deepest condolences to Costa’s loved ones, family, friends and fans. #RIPCostaTitch Mr Big Flexa. Gone too soon. Fly high.”

“This life😭😭😭😭😭 Rip Costa. The way we are losing all these Talents at a young Age really scares me. Any time this Life gona Flash before urs just like AKA said,” @sesabat said.
