American actor Taye Diggs imitates Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 ‘Oscars’ yesterday in a TikTok video.

TikToker and popular actor Taye Diggs took to his TikTok to reenact Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the live Oscars yesterday (28 March).  

The star who’s being followed by millions of people on his social media accounts hopped on the Tik Tok bandwagon back in December and has trended for his videos since.

TAYE DIGGS RE-ENACTS CHRIS ROCK GETTING SLAPPED  

Decorated actor Taye Diggs has returned to Tik Tok to imitate Will Smith slapping Oscar host Chris Rock.   

In the video Diggs goofily slaps his co-Tik Toker then takes a seat next to his girlfriend April Jones screams:  

“Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.”   

In the original video at the Oscars – Will Smith seats next to multi-award-winning actress – Lupita Nyongo and his wife Jada-Pinkett Smith after slapping Chris Rock.

The American star has grown his fanbase since creating his TikTok account and his videos have become popular on Twitter and Instagram.

WILL SMITH APOLOGISES FOR THE ‘OSCARS’ INCIDENT  

King Richard actor Will Smith took to his Instagram account 24 hours ago to apologise to comedian Chris Rock and condemn violence and admit he was wrong to slap him.  

In his statement, Smith says Rock’s joke about his wife Jada-Pinkett Smith’s Alopecia joke went too far for him.  

“Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”

“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong.”

“I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.”

“There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
