Somizi wants DJ Zinhle to bring his & Mohale’s ‘lock of love’ from Paris

Media personality Somizi Mhlongo wants DJ Zinhle to bring home the lock of love he and his estranged husband Mohale Motaung locked in Paris – where the pair officially got engaged.

Somizi jumped in the comments section of DJ Zinhle’s post to ask her to bring back his and his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung’s symbol of love from Paris. One of the main attraction’s for lovers in Paris is the lock bridge in Seine River – located on the westernmost point of the Île de la Cité.
This is where couples buy a padlock, inscribe their names on it, lock it on the bridge and throw away the key. The tradition symbolises love locked forever but since Somizi is getting a divorce, he wants the Umlilo hitmaker to bring home his lock. Somhale locked their love on an episode of their Showmax series where the media personality latter proposed to the actor.
“Insert love quote here…” she captioned the post.
“Ngicela ungibuyele ne lock yam,” commented Somizi which means “please bring back my lock,” when roughly translated to English.

WHY IS ‘SOMHALE’ GETTING DIVORCE?
Mohale claimed Somizi physically and psychologically abused him in leaked audio clips with the producer of Somizi’s reality series.
“I took my keys and walked out, he took a knife. I was about to exit, so he said to me, ‘if you exit… I’m going to kill us both.’ So I took my keys and ran. He grabbed the knife and said ‘if you walk out, I’m going to stab you.’ Now I see a different person. I was sh*t scared and walked back into the house. He said ‘let’s talk.’ He cried and we moved on,” said Mohale.
The pair confirmed their divorce about a week after the audio clips were leaked in August 2021. The abuse allegations severely affected Somizi’s career but he is back on track with a new talk show.
