South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo opened up about the materialistic world we live in via an Instagram post on 3 March.
SOMIZI MHLONGO: ‘SOMETHING HAS TO DIE, IT SHOULDN’T BE ME’
Somizi Mhlongo took to Instagram to talk about his suicidal thoughts and impressiing others in a materialistic world. He talks about not wanting to die over the things causing him pain as well as his celebrity status.
“Something has to die, it shouldn’t be me,” he captioned the video.
Somgaga went on to say that he is no longer stressing about whether he will lose his cars, house or anything more. This follows rapper Riky Rick’s dearth after a rumoure suicide.
“I’ve also attached myself to ‘what do you think of me, what if I lose my cars, my house, what if I’m broke again?’ and I’m releasing myself from that. If something has to die today, it is not me; it is the belief system that I am because of all those things. Those things being cars, house, money, you, your opinion, your thoughts, what you think about me,” he said.
