Slik Talk is speaking out for the first time since his highly publicized match against Cassper Nyovest, titled Fame vs Clout. And in a strange turn of events, the outspoken entertainment commentator is now singing his opponent’s praises.
The YouTuber posted a follow-up video since his closed-fight on Wednesday in which he reflected on what went down.
The trash-talking star lost the match to Cassper in a match that lasted less than 12 minutes!
But instead of the cocky and arrogant attitude we’re used to seeing, Slik Talk gladly ate humble pie by congratulating Cassper on a job well done.
‘PREPARED TO DIE’
Speaking to his fans, Slik Talk reflected on his what he expected to gain from participating in the Fame vs Clout boxing match
He said: “I told myself one thing; I don’t care if this n**** beats me to a pulp. When I leave that ring, I’m going to have his respect. And when he looked in my eye he saw somebody that was prepared to die in that ring.

“I was not leaving that ring without the money. That was not going to happen”.
PRAISE FOR CASSPER
Slik Talk went on to praise Cassper Nyovest for his professionalism and commitment to the match.
He continued: “I want to give a shout out to Cassper Nyovest and his manager for the level of professionalism.
“You never know how big Cassper Nyovest is until an event like this happens…and I respect him for that…I gained a lot of respect for Cassper”.

And just in case you’re wondering; Slik Talk did go home R100k richer.
He added: “I did get the money so you can relax. I got paid early in the morning. Cassper and his team kept their word”.
He also reflected on his strategy for the match, which was viewed by 100 000 fans. He added: “My strategy was simple; defend for two rounds and look for a haymaker in the third round.
“I went there for the money, I didn’t give a damn about punching Cassper Nyovest. I was against the clock. My strategy was just defend, defend, defend and just run the time up
“Cassper Nyovest did what he had to do and I want to salute him for that”.
