Barely a week after entering a mental health facility to treat her bipolar disorder, and Skolopad has announced that she has left…

The singer last week claimed that she would be “locked up for weeks” as part of a plan to seek treatment after recently being diagnosed by a psychologist.

But instead of being cared for with dignity, the star reveals that she was subjected to substandard and even downright humiliating treatment

‘I RATHER FOKOF FROM THIS PLACE’

Skolopad – who is also a practising nurse – detailed how she was mistreated during her stay at Busamed Hospital in Harrismith in a post on Instagram

The mom-of-one claims reveals she was allegedly forced to sleep on a chair and deprived of water.

She wrote: “Slept on the chair with my multiple fractures because the bed was too flat…Asked for water to drink from 6pm during supper nix [nothing] until I drank water from the toilet just to be able to drink my treatment”.

She also claimed that the nurses in charge claimed she has a “celebrity attitude” and claimed that she was after “attention and drama”.

She continued: “I’d rather keep my money and fokof to my place, if not be transferred to another institution. Therapy sessions I attended was dope… Mara the place is not therapeutic.

“I’ve been admitted to two different rehab and I never complained.. no TV, no network le tronkong I’m sure ho betere [I’m sure jail is better than this]”.

SKOLOPAD BACK AT HOME

Skolopad reveals that she was forced to self-discharged and is now at home recovering from her ordeal at hospital.

She told the Daily Sun: “I wasn’t happy with the condition of the place. They were undermining us. They have Zulu-speaking people working there and people from QwaQwa are forced to speak isiZulu

“I’ve never been in such a depressing space. I went there all excited and I was disappointed, so I signed a refusal of hospital treatment and left.”
