Sizwe Dhlomo takes over Dineo Ranaka’s slot on Kaya 959
Radio presenter Sizwe Dlhomo has taken over Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka’s 959 Breakfast slot on KAYA 959.

The Citizen reports that Kaya 959 revealed in a statement that afternoon drive host Sizwe Dhlomo would take over Dineo Ranaka’s breakfast slot after she opened up about being suicidal.

INSIDE SIZWE DHLOMO’S TAKE OVER
The popular TV and radio presenter Sizwe Dlhomo officially took over the Kaya 959 Breakfast slot on Wednesday, 24 May, usually hosted by Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka.
The radio station shared it had to make immediate changes because it cares about the well-being of its employees.
Kaya 959 MD, Collen Louw added: “We are confident that our team of talented presenters will hold the fort extraordinarily well during this time.”
Thomas Msengana and Skhumba Hlophe will fill in for Dhlomo from 3 pm – 6 pm, while George Manyosi will host Msengana and Hlophe’s show Last Call from 10 pm to midnight on weekdays.

DINEO RANAKA UPDATE
Generations: The Legacy actress Manaka Ranaka, who is Dineo’s sister, revealed on Instagram that the radio personality is with family.
“Family is with her right now, and we are trying to get her all the help she will need moving forward. She is in a very dark place right now, and we are trying to get her to see the light again. Thank you, guys.”
“Strength is you, and you are strength. I’m committed to showing you what that means if you can’t see it or feel it.”
This is after Dineo shared on her Instagram to reveal that she is trying her best not to commit suicide. She explained that she understands those who want to take their own life.
“I completely understand souls/ spirits/ people that commit suicide. I get it, I get them. Because I’m trying my best to NOT commit suicide. My mind is sooo loud of late and life is f****** hard so f****** hard and I’m trying my best but it seems my best is not enough.”
