The Duke of Sussex, who is turning 37 today, received well wishes from the Queen, his brother Prince William, Kate Middleton and his father, Prince Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to their official Twitter to wish Prince Harry a very happy birthday. The royal couple also shared a lovely throwback photo of the Prince who is living in California with his wife, Meghan Markle and two children.

The royal family’s official Twitter account shared various photos of the prince.

Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles also shared a special post on Twitter on the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall’s official account.

A new home

Prince Harry has only returned to the UK twice since he and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in March 2020. Despite ongoing tension between the Sussexes and the royal family, he flew in for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April and unveiled a statue of his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, at Kensington Palace with Prince William in July.

What’s more, new reports suggest that Prince Harry will appear alongside members of the royal family in a new BBC documentary celebrating the life of his late grandfather, Prince Philip.

Both he and his brother, Prince William, appeared in a trailer for Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers.

“He’s always been a huge presence behind everything we’ve done really,” says Prince William in the clip according to Hello Magazine.

It then jumps to Harry, who adds: “What you see is what you got with my grandfather. He was unapologetically him.”

The programme, which will air on 22 September, features all of the Queen and the Duke’s children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

It also includes interviews with the late Duke’s adult grandchildren, including Zara Tindall, who said in the trailer: “You never really prepare yourself for losing him because he was always there.”
