It’s a bittersweet moment for Royal AM president Shaun Mkhize aka “MaMkhize”, who is celebrating her son Andile Mpisane’s 22nd birthday, a day after a devastating loss against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The KwaZulu-Natal-based team was defeated 5-1 on Tuesday, 14 March, at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The match formed part of the DStv Premiership tournament.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS FOR ANDILE MPISANE
Taking to her Instagram account, MaMkhize dedicated a birthday post to son Andile Mpisane, whom she shares with ex-husband Sbu Mpisane.
She posted: “I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. It was so easy with you. You were a sweet, calm, and unbothered baby. From the moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew that I would do anything to protect, love and care for you. You instantly became my motivation, and you still are my number one driving force.

She continued: “I’ve watched you grow and make mistakes. I’ve seen you at your highest and at your lowest. Through it all, I will always be your mother, hoping and praying for God’s favour, guidance and blessings upon your life.
“Today, as you turn a year wiser, know that I will always love you, and I wish you the best as you enter this new chapter of your life.”
MaMkhize then referenced Royal AM’s disastrous performance.
She added: “I think the labour pains I had with you were nothing compared to the pain I felt yesterday after our match”

MAMKHIZE AND ROYAL AM SUFFER EMBARRASSING LOSS
Both Andile Mpisane and his mom MaMkhize will be toasting his birthday with a broken heart following Royal AM’s loss.
Despite turning up in a star-studded entourage – which included the likes of SOmizi Mhlongo, Kefilwe Mbote, and Norma Mngoma – the celebrity soccer supporters were left with egg on their faces.
