Baby No2! Rihanna confirms pregnancy after SuperBowl show

A rep Rihanna confirmed that she is expecting her second child after she sparked pregnancy rumours during the SuperBowl halftime show.

American singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty’s rep confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child after she showed off her baby bump during her SuperBowl LVII halftime show on Sunday 12 February.

RIHANNA SHOWS OFF BABY BUMP DURING SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW

Umbrella hitmaker Rihanna sparked pregnancy rumours during the SuperBowl LVII halftime show when she cradled a baby bump within the first few seconds. 

The singer wore a form fitting red jumpsuit as she sang some of her greatest hits including Where Have You Been, Only Girl and B*tch Better Have My Money. This came after the singer’s hiatus in music. She released the album Anti in 2016 and had not been on tour since.

The SuperBowl took place at State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fans were convinced this SuperBowl performance would be Rihanna’s comeback in the music industry. However, the Fenty Beauty owner may have her hands tied as she is expecting her second child.

THE SINGER’S REP CONFIRMS PREGNANCY

A representative for Rihanna confirmed that the singer is pregnant with her second child to The Hollywood Reporter. This comes after the businesswoman welcomed her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky on 13 May 2022The pair are yet to reveal their son’s name.

Speaking in an interview ahead of her performance, Rihanna revealed that motherhood inspired her to perform at the SuperBowl Halftime show.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything,” she said according to the Hollywood Reporter.
