‘RHOJ’ season 3: Two old cast members return [photos]

The date is set, the new cast members have been picked and two old #RHOJ ladies are returning in season 3 of the reality drama series.

The date for the much-loved reality TV series, the Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ), has already been set. The dramatic show will premiere its third season on 19 May, on 1 Magic, channel 103 on DStv.

In November, The South African reported that the show is returning with a new cast after the third season was halted in 2021 due to an alleged altercation between Christall Kay, Brinette Seopela and DJ Tira’s wife, Gugu Khathi.

In addition, entertainment commentator Phil Mphela revealed that one other member, content creator and social media influencer Tshwanelo “Twazzy” Lekhuleni was dropped while shooting.

According to Zimoja, the only cast members that are returning are Lethabo LeJoy Mathato and Lebo Jojo Mokoena.

Nicole Watson is an actress and she is in the public relations (PR) industry.

RHOJ producer Sonia Mbele confirmed that the actress will be in the third season in an interview on Kaya FM last year.

YouTuber Mamus Koka wears many hats. Besides vlogging on the video content creation platform, she is also a Human Resource Manager, mum and wife.

While working in administration was never one of her dreams, although she enjoys it now, Mamus told Jideka Official last year that she is letting go of her TV dream — this was before RHOJ came knocking.

Thobekile Mdlalose is in the business of promoting good health. The 34-year-old got into the business after her husband Sunny Mdlalose was hospitalised for a major ulcer operation.

The mom-of-four studied video technology and began her career in video editing. She later worked as a television producer and director.


Another cast member who will be letting Mzansi into her life on RHOJ is Keabetswe Marema.

Keabetswe is the founder and owner of a children’s clothing and bedding brand called Leware Kids. She is also a mom of three and a wife. She has a B-Tech degree from Tshwane University of Technology.
