‘Who is this?’: Rasta the Artist pays tribute to Costa Titch [photos]
After seeing Rasta the Artist’s portrait of Costa Titch, a social media user trolling him said, ‘You will not see heaven, malume [uncle]’.

South African late rapper, Costantinos Tsobanoglou, popularly known as Costa Titch died on 11 March, and was honoured by none other than Rasta the Artist—real name Lebani Sirenje who wholeheartedly paid his respect by painting a portrait of him.
RASTA PAINTS THE LATE COSTA TITCH
Costa Titch collapsed twice in front of his fans on stage while performing at the Ultra Music Festival at the Expo Centre, in Johannesburg.
Shortly after, he was confirmed dead. Fans and online users speculated the cause of death was due to him having a history with epilepsy.
Nonetheless, the sudden death came as a shock to many local rap fans who were already mourning the loss of another rapper, and a good friend and co-worker to Costa Titch, AKA—real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes.
He was gunned down just a month before in KwaZulu Natal, outside Wish restaurant in Florida, just moments before he was set to perform.

The Zimbabwean painter shared he was at an event in Johannesburg and had paid his respect to the Big Flexa hitmaker, saying,
“Tribute to Costa Titch at Hillbrow Radio 24/7 Open Mic event, paint tribute 🕊.”
After posting the portrait on his socials, netizens were not impressed with the thoughtful painting and bashed Rasta’s picture.
Rasta is familiar with being trolled for his painting. In 2020, he received a lot of backlash from netizens after they saw his portrait of controversial dancer, Zodwa Wabantu, Zalebs reported.
