Following King Charles’s royal coronation, Camilla will officially be recognised as the Queen of England. But that hasn’t stopped royal fans around the world from remembering the king’s former wife – Diana – on his special day.
In fact, many have expressed their opinions that Diana – who died in 1997 – is the “only true queen.”
The coronation service took place on Saturday, 6 May, at Westminster Abbey. In attendance were members of the Royal Family, ryals from around the world, and other distinguished guests.

Camilla – previously the Duchess of Cornwall and later the Queen Consort – was given the title of Queen at the royal coronation
King Charles’s second wife will now be addressed as “Her Majesty The Queen” and “The Queen.”
According to People, her new title is updated on the Royal Family’s website.

In February 2022, the late Queen Elizabeth voiced her approval that Camilla – a divorcee – become queen following her husband’s ascension to the throne.
The announcement was made on the eve of Queen Elizabeth’s Accession Day, marking her 70th anniversary of becoming Monarch.
Following the Monarch’s death in September 2022, Camilla assumed the title of Queen Consort.
Earlier this week, King Charles issued a Royal Warrant dictating that his wife no longer be officially addressed as “Camilla the Queen Consort”.but as “Queen Camilla” from the day of the coronation.

ROYAL FANS REMEMBER DIANA
Meanwhile, King Charles’s first wife, the late Princess Diana, became a trending Twitter topic on coronation day.
And many royal fans expressed their belief that the late royal – mom to Princes William and Harry – was more deserving of the title of queen.
Charles and Diana – who married in 1981 – divorced in 1996. Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris the following year.
In 2005, Prince Charles married his long-time love interest Camilla Parker Bowles, whom he allegedly had an affair with throughout his marriage to Princess Diana.
