Princess Charlene’s father on her health issues

Prince Albert confirmed that shortly after Princess Charlene’s arrival in Monaco, she went to a treatment facility due to “severe fatigue”.

Now, her father, Mike Wittstock said that although Charlene is “vulnerable” because she has had “so many medical interventions”, he is sure that she will “come back much stronger”.

According to The Daily Mail, Princess Charlene was in South Africa for most of 2021 as she reportedly suffered from an ear, nose and throat infection. This did nothing but fuel speculations that all is not well between the princess and her husband, who has been accused of infidelity and fathering another child.

A prolonged stay in South Africa

Her father, who lives in Gauteng, said during her stay in South Africa, he was not able to see his daughter during her extended period in the country because he was concerned about the risks of COVID-19.

He told You Magazine: “I didn’t want to infect her either because she had so many medical interventions, she is very vulnerable.”

But he revealed they spoke on the phone regularly and said he has an “excellent” relationship with Charlene.

Mike added that he also speaks to her children, seven-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella, regularly as they remain in Monaco with their father while Charlene continues treatment.
