PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE UNINVITED?

The couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received an invite to the pre-funeral reception for Queen Elizabeth, which is hosted by King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla, for world leaders and foreign royals. But they have reportedly now been uninvited and informed that only working British royals are welcome to attend at Buckingham Palace, according to a new report from the UK’s Telegraph.

It is also unclear why Harry and Markle were ever invited in the first place as sources told the publication that the pair “appeared baffled” by the alleged mixup (invitation).

The Telegraph adds that Harry and Markle aren’t able to attend the event because they are no longer working royals.

Page Six reports that President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron are among hundreds of heads of state who will attend the event before Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral on Monday, 19 September.

MOURNING QUEEN ELIZABETH

Markle and Harry are in the UK to mourn Queen Elizabeth alongside Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the royal family.

The publication adds that Markle and Harry gave up their royal duties as Duke and Duchess of Sussex in January 2020 due to ongoing issues within the family and have since relocated to Markle’s native California.

EWN reports that hundreds of foreign royals and leaders are expected to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in London on Monday.

Westminster Abbey has space for around 2,000 people, so only heads of state and one or two guests have reportedly been invited to Britain’s first state funeral for six decades.
