The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly making a dramatic U-turn on their upcoming projects following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN TO EDIT UPCOMING PROJECTS

Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry have been working on a docuseries for Netflix for over a year. This is a part of their multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming platform.

Page Six reports that Netflix chiefs, who have not yet announced the Sussex project, hoped that it would air in December following the launch of The Crown season five releasing on 9 November.

“Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December. There’s a lot of pressure on (Netflix CEO) Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished,” said an insider.

The publication reports that the couple want to edit their anticipated show which may push back its release to late in 2023. Prince Harry’s memoir has also been pushed back to sometime in 2023. The memoir was scheduled for release in November.

Royal experts have claimed that King Charles III will hold off on giving Prince Harry and Meghan’s two children – Archie (2) and Lilibet (1) – Prince and Princess titles until the couple’s various media projects are out.

SOURCES: ‘THEY WANT TO STALL’

The couple were part of the usual editing processes. However, sources claim the couple is keen to downplay much of what they have said about King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton – the new Princess of Wales.

“A lot of conversations are happening. I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall,” said a source to the publication.

“I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point, do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?” asked a source.
