Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend of seven years, has secretly tied the knot at the weekend with millionaire hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott, who went to Eton College with the Duke of Sussex.

Davy dated Prince Harry from 2004 to 2010 during their teenage years until when she became a law student at Leeds University.

LOW-KEY WEDDING FOR CHELSY DAVY

According to a source who revealed the news to Daily Mail, not many people were aware of the wedding as Zimbabwean-born Davy and her boyfriend of three years can be labelled as an “uber private couple”.

“They are married. Very few people knew about the wedding,” the source revealed.

While the couple are yet to publicly confirm the news, Davy shared a photograph of her wearing a wedding ring below her sapphire engagement sparkler, according to the publication.

CHELSY DAVY AND SAM CUTMORE-SCOTT’S RELATIONSHIP

The Zimbabwean-born beauty revealed in 2020 that she is in a serious relationship. Although she did not mention a name, it later emerged that Cutmore-Scott is the lucky man.

The couple welcomed their first child in January this year – a baby boy named Leo. Because the pair guards their privacy, reports about the baby’s birth only emerged in February when Davy’s local Norfolk parish councillor broke the news.

“We as a parish council met with the Cutmore-Scotts and Sam’s wife came in with the baby,” Langham parish councilor, Paul Godfrey recalled.

“We had the meeting in their house, adjacent to the hotel. I did get to meet the baby. We were having a chat so it was not much of an introduction. Chelsy was holding the baby.”

Chelsy’s husband, 37, is said to be the director of his parents’ hospitality company, the Bijou Collection, which owns four wedding venues.

He is also the brother of Hollywood actor Jack Cutmore-Scott. The actor is best known for his role in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning film Tenet and the drama series Deception.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old Davy runs her own a jewellery and luxury travel business. The couple live together in Chiswick, West London.

CHELSY DAVY AND PRINCE HARRY’S RELATIONSHIP

The Duke of Sussex and Chelsy dated between 2004 to 2011, but later broke up because the pressures of being a royal girlfriend were too much for her to handle.

Following the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding in 2011, Chelsy broke things off with Prince Harry. According to Cosmopolitan, she wanted to live a normal life away from the paparazzi.

Chelsy opened up about her relationship with Prince Harry back in 2016, saying, “It was so full-on: crazy, and scary, and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope. I think we will always be good friends.”

Although their relationship ended, she was still one of the guests at Prince Harry’s 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle, Tatler reports.
