PNB ROCK FATALLY SHOT DURING ROBBERY

The Los Angeles Times reports that rapper PnB Rock was fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday 12 September. The rapper was only 30 years old at the time of his death.

According to the Los Angeles police Captain Kelly Muniz said a shooting took place at the restaurant but she did not identify the victim.

“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” said Muniz.

Muniz went on to say that the victim was rushed to hospital and pronounced dead at 13:59.

PnB Rock was dining with his girlfriend Steph Sibounheuang, who posted a location-tagged photo of them at the restaurant. She has since deleted the post. The Selfish hitmaker was reportedly targeted for his jewellery. Authorities believe social media posts, including one of a black gift bag tagged with his address, led the assailants to his location.

TMZ reported that the suspect is still on the loose but there’s surveillance video that may help police identify him.
