As he did briefly in 2015, Oscar Pistorius is expected to call a mega million-rand mansion home after he is granted parole, which is expected to happen as early as this weekend.

The former Paralympian is likely to be given an early release after serving half of his 13-year and five-month sentence for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in 2013.

Pistorius will stay with his uncle Arnold and wife Lois at their Waterkloof house in Pretoria.  Arnold, Pistorius’s father’s brother, is a prominent businessman who accumulated much of his wealth through developing, letting, and managing commercial properties around South Africa.

OSCAR PISTORIUS TO LIVE IN MEGA MANSION

In October 2015, Oscar Pistorius was placed under house arrest after he served just 12 months of a five-year prison sentence of culpable homicide.

However, his charge was changed to murder, and his jail term increased to 13 years following an unsuccessful appeal in November 2017.

Pistorius will return to the Pretoria mansion, his uncle Arnold confirmed to Netwerk24. The former athlete will be given his own quarters at the three-story estate, made comfortable for him by his family.

“Easy is putting it lightly. My wife really made it enjoyable for him”, Arnold told the publication.

According to The Mirror, the brick-faced home – worth over R20 million – boasts “sweeping verandas, landscaped gardens, and a swimming pool”. It also is equipped with high walls and a 24-hour-a-day posted security guard to keep prying eyes away.
