Soccer star Thabo Rakhale lands a job in North West
Former Orlando Pirates player Thabo Rakhale, who dated sangoma Gogo Maweni has reportedly landed a job in the North West province.

Sangoma Gogo Maweni’s ex-boyfriend and former Orlando Pirates player Thabo Rakhale has reportedly bagged a job in the North West province and is set to be back in the professional ranks by January.

THABO RAKHALE’S AGENT: ‘HE HAD SOME PERSONAL MATTERS’
The soccer star Thabo Rakhale’s agent Mandla Mthembu told Daily Sun that the former Orlando Pirates dribbling wizard got a job in the North West province after spending a couple of months dealing with personal matters.
“The plan was to get him back in shape as he was out of action for some time. After leaving Sekhukhune, he had to attend to some personal matters. But he has dealt with that (personal issues), and he is now back working hard as we are looking for a team. He’s training with the Championship club, and they have shown interest. We will take a decision and make an announcement.”
The publication adds that Rakhale was last seen with Sekhukhune United and is currently training with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Platinum City Rovers.
According to Daily Sun, Rakhale left Orlando Pirates in 2017 and moved to different teams including Chippa United.

‘ORLANDO PIRATES FANS WILL HATE ME’
The soccer star made headlines in October when his sangoma ex-girlfriend Gogo Maweni revealed on Gigi Lamayne’s podcast that she used ‘muthi’ on the former Orlando Pirates player Thabo Rakhale after he broke up with her.
She added that she was heartbroken when Rakhele dumped her for being a sangoma a few years and that his career at Pirates ended because of the ’muthi’ she used.
Iharare reports that after Gogo Maweni used traditional medicine on Thabo, the footballer struggled to make the Pirates’ starting XI as he was constantly confined to the bench.
The publication adds that the dribbling wizard struggled for regular game time and that the club dropped him in 2017 and he joined later Chippa United on a permanent deal.
The controversial sangoma also said she knows Orlando Pirates fans will hate her after her confessions.
