Ntsiki Mazwai has shown that she doesn’t pick sides when it comes to dragging people on her popular Twitter page.

This time the activist and poet aimed her blazing guns at Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) leader Julius Malema who she says is not — and has never been — a leader.

South African poet and human rights activist Nstiki Mazwai is not unlike other media personalities here in Mzansi who always make their voices heard…especially on Twitter. The young woman took to her Twitter page on Sunday morning to take a jab at Malema.

In her post, Mazwai wrote that Malema is not and has never been a real leader. According to Mazwai, the lockdown has proven that he lacks the necessary skills that allow one to take on the term “leader”.

“Lockdown showed us that Malema is not a leader; just someone who talks loudly…”

She continued to say: “Shame… This party has lost all the people that made it special. Now it’s like a past beauty queen. Walking confidently with wrinkles while people laugh. So sad.”

Mazwai seemingly got cold feet about her tweets and quickly resorted to deleting them — but not before explaining why she made the decision to do so:

“The fact that Tokyo was silenced so quickly speaks volumes… Wake up,” she wrote obviously implying that she did not want to get sued by the EFF or Malema for speaking against them.

After deleting her tweets, Twitter users quickly resorted to calling the young poet a coward. Many of them encouraged her to stand her ground in order to be taken seriously. Zalebs also reported that a few people defended Mazwai and her opinions.

“People with powerful voices don’t chicken out Ntsiki. They stick to their guns bcoz they know they have enough ammunition. You are always ready to criticise others but can’t swallow the same pill. The fact remains: you got cold feet & deleted that tweet, said @Maboresks.
