Roby-Leigh Mentor, who was engaged to Naakmusiq, has announced that she is entering a new chapter without the musician and actor.

Anga “Naakmusiq” Makubalo and his fiance Robyn-Leigh Mentor have called off their “engagement”. This was revealed by the musician’s now-ex on her Instagram stories on Monday 12 September.
‘ENTERING A NEW SEASON’
Robyn, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, announced that she is stepping into a new season, one without Naakmusiq.
“Entering a new season and ending another, I am no longer engaged to Anga,” she wrote.

CONFUSION OVER NAAKMUSIQ AND ROBYN’S ENGAGEMENT
There had been some confusion among fans this year regarding the couple’s relationship. In January, the Mamelani hitmaker rubbished controversial entertainment blogger Musa Khawula’s claims that he was engaged to his Robyn.
Musa had shared a snap of Robyn’s diamond ring and announced that they were engaged to be married, but Naakmusiq poured cold water on the report labelling it “fake news”. The Isono actor also revealed that Robyn had “gotten that ring with her own money”.
“Stop this, she didn’t reveal sh*t. Neither did she make any announcement, neither is it any of your business, to be honest.
“She got that ring with her own money. Where she puts it is her choice. Stay in your lane. WTF!” he lashed out.
According to TimesLIVE, the singer and actor’s manager Nyagunda Ngwenya also confirmed there was no truth to the rumours at the time.
“Naakmusiq is not engaged. He is focusing on upcoming projects and will continue giving his fans amazing music. 2022 is looking very bright,” she was quoted as saying.
However, last month, Naakmusiq finally confirmed his engagement to Robyn when he joined TikTok and shared a cute video montage of himself and his bae who showed off her engagement ring to fans.
