BABY ZEN PASSES AWAY AT FIVE-MONTHS-OLD

Nick Cannon announced that his youngest son Zen passed away due to brain cancer. Nick welcomed Zen with model Alyssa Scott on 23 June. Zen was Nick’s fourth baby in six months. Twins Zillion and Zion were born in June and his daughter, Powerful was born in December 2020.

In an emotional episode of The Nick Cannon Show, the comedian said that Zen always had a different way of breathing but he didn’t think too much of it at first but doctors later found that fluid had been building in the back of his head. They found a malignant tumor and he had to have surgery because it was cancer in the brain.

“Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer. It’s tough. And I have my therapist here, who’s been helping us through it,” he said.

NICK CANNON SAYS THINGS TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORST AROUND THANKSGIVING

Nick explained that things took a turn for the worst around Thanksgiving. Nick said he spent his last weekend in California and he wanted to go to the ocean. So he took Zen to the ocean and he passed away soon after.

“We got to spend the weekend with him. I said I feel like I want to go to the water, to the ocean. I didn’t know I was going to handle today, but I just really wanted to grieve with my family and people who love me,” he said.

“I felt like I will go through it to grow through it, I have so much faith in the Lord and faith in God,” he continued.
