A few years ago South African TV and radio presenter Anele Mdoda said that Kelly Rowland wasn’t as pretty as her former Destiny Child trio members. The tweet which was a response to Sizwe Dhlomo, who said that Kelly was the star of DC, has been haunting her ever since because every time Kelly Rowland trends, so does she.
This time both of them are trending as Mzansi wonders if Kelly has finally decided to clap back at Anele.
Anele and Kelly Rowland: The tweets that never died down
It’s been 2 whole years since Breakfast Club radio host Anele Mdoda said that Kelly Rowland wasn’t beautiful. One would never say it’s been that long since Anele bizarrely trends each and every time Kelly trends.
A few weeks ago, Anele headed to Instagram to share some photos of herself rocking a stylish yellow swimsuit while basking in the sun on a boat in the Maldives. She captioned her post:

Fast forward to yesterday and Kelly Rowland takes to her Instagram page where she shared a photo of herself rocking the exact same swimsuit in what looks like the exact same setting as Anele.

While she only used yellow heart emojis to caption her post, South Africans are hellbent on believing that she has finally caught on that Anele once shaded her and has now decided to clap back with a fiercely sexy “who did it better” post.
