From denying he demanded 50% of Somizi’s estate to the cheating, here are five bombshells from ‘Mohale: On The Record’.

South African actor and radio personality Mohale Motaung opened up about his marriage to media personality Somizi Mhlongo in an explosive Showmax special which was released on Thursday 4 August.

Here are five bombshells from the special which set tongues wagging.

1. MOHALE CLAIMS HE NEVER DEMANDED 50% OF SOMIZI’S ESTATE

The Black Door star denied that he demanded 50% of Somizi’s estate. This comes after the media personality claimed Mohale was demanding half on an episode of the fifth season of Living the Dream with Somizi.

Mohale claimed that he only wanted his clothes, his car and the money from their Showmax wedding special.

“The very first letter that we sent to Somizi on 25 June 2021 stated that I wanted my clothing, the car he bashed (valued at a minimum value of R200 000), and I want the money for the wedding (R750 000) which belongs to the both of us,” he said.

So, how did Mohale feel about Somizi claiming he demanded half? Well he was shocked.

“I did not understand why he would go and lie and say I want 50% of his estate. When there is truth and lawyers letters between his attorneys and mine that clearly state that I am not (asking for 50%). I will tell my truth,” he said in an exclusive interview with The South African.

2. THE ALLEGED ABUSE

Mohale claimed that Somizi “beat him up” on more than two occasions. He described an alleged incident where Somizi wanted to mess up his face and threw champagne all over him.

“He came upstairs, I remember he had a bottle of champagne in his hand. I was trying to get out of the clothes that I was wearing and he started spilling on me and with my trying to find out what was going on, he started beating me up,” he said.
“His main aim in everything, I remember him saying that he needs to mess up my face because this beautiful face is messing things up for him. I remember having to cover up my face as the shoes he was wearing were really going to damage my face,” he said.
“He started hitting me in the ribs, he started hitting me in my legs. I couldn’t walk, I crawled down the stairs,” he continued.

3. SOMIZI WANTED A THREESOME WITH ORLANDO

The radio personality also claimed that Somizi wanted him to have a threesome with Orlando. He said that he was not comfortable and asked to leave. This was just a day after the pair got engaged.

“I think we should have a threesome with Orlando and I was shocked,” he said.

4. SOMIZI WANTED MOHALE TO RESIGN

Mohale claimed that Somizi did not want him to work because he wanted him to be a househusband.

“At the time when the influencing work came, I was unemployed and resigned because he asked me to,” he said.

He also claimed that Somizi sabotaged his job opportunities with the Fergusons.

“Somizi spoke to TT Mbha and asked him to tell people not to hire me. I discovered I was missing out on gigs and I was very hurt that my husband and his best friend cooked up a story to make sure that I don’t get that gig with the Fergusons,” he said.

5. MOHALE CHEATED ON SOMIZI AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RELATIONSHIP

The 27-year-old did not just fire at his estranged husband, but he also admitted to his own wrongs. He revealed that he cheated on Somizi three months into their relationship.

“I cheated three months into the relationship and it’s not something I’m proud of because it hurt me to see him hurt that way. I had no reason to cheat and was just being selfish and I didn’t think about him or how he would feel,” he said.
