‘It is his truth’: Mohale on Somizi addressing their divorce on reality show

Mohale Motaung does not care that his estranged husband Somizi Mhlongo will be diving into the details of their divorce in his reality show.

Actor and radio personality Mohale Motaung doesn’t care that his estranged husband, media personality Somizi Mhlongo will be airing details of their divorce in season five of his reality show, Living the Dream with Somizi – on the series which premieres on 4 May. 

SOMIZI MHLONGO ADDRESSES DIVORCE IN REALITY SERIES 

Showmax released the trailer of season five of Living the Dream with Somizi on 4 May. The trailer revealed that Somizi will be diving into the details of his divorce in the series. 

The Idols SA judge is seen seeking legal advice about a division of his assets and there is a hint that Mohale wants half. His friend, actress Lorcia Cooper also asks him the burning  burning question – “Did you hit him?”

The trailer also revealed that his daughter Bahumi and “baby mama” Palesa Madisakwane will be featured on the show. Take a look…

Candice Fangueiro, head of content at Showmax, says the platform is exploring everything that followed Somizi and Mohale’s wedding.

“His wedding special, Somizi & Mohale: The Union, was the union of the year and set a then-record for the most first-day views on Showmax at launch. Having told the story of the wedding, which appeared to many almost like a fairytale, for balance we wanted to explore everything that followed,” she said.

MOHALE: ‘IT IS HIS TRUTH’ 

Mohale was unbothered about Somizi addressing details of their divorce in the reality show. He says that he should address it if he wants to because it is his truth. The radio personality also acknowledged that it is already out there.

“I think he should address what he feels like he wants to. We are divorcing, so it’s already out there. It is his truth and I believe that everybody must be free to say what they want,” said Mohale to City Press.
