Masego “Maps” Maponyane wears many hats as a South African creative. Maps is a model, television presenter, designer and restauranteur. The Buns Out owner lives a lavish lifestyle, often exploring other countries, driving a top-of-the-range car and relaxing in his upmarket home.
But the stand-out question is: What is Maps’s net worth?

WHAT DOES MAPS MAPONYANE DO?
Maps’s father, Marks Maponyane, is a retired South African soccer player who caught the attention of international football coaches during his career. While a love for soccer flows through his veins, Maps chose to follow a different career path.
With his father being a Kaizer Chiefs legend and his mother an academic, Maps said he was always committed to finding and doing what makes him happy.
“It was never written in the stars or pre-concluded. In fact, it seemed highly unlikely but I’ve always tried to make something out of nothing,” he told Career ID.
The 31-year-old has worked with a number of brands in South Africa, all while juggling his burger joint Buns Out. The franchise has restaurants in the Linden and Norwood areas in Johannesburg.
He also starred in the 2015 film Tell Me Sweet Something with his ex-girlfriend Nomzamo Mbatha.
LAVISH LIFESTYLE
Maps Maponyane drives a high-end Mercedes-Benz AMG GLS 63 SUV. According to McCarthy, the car is worth around R3.2 million.
It is reported that the hunky model also owns a Mercedes-Benz G Wagon that can range anywhere from R1.7 million to R3.7 million.
In 2019, he took Condé Nast House & Garden inside his modern Johannesburg apartment. His home features stunning South African art with a bedroom that he describes as a “New York apartment feel.” Maps also has a walk-in closest and a wall for his hats.
