Mzansi may have a new celebrity boxing match to contend with, and it involves one of the South Africa’s most controversial artists: Babes Wodumo. The gqom singer and dancer has been challenged to a boxing match by her industry rival Mamesh.
And it’s not just the title of the win they’re competing for; Mamesh has made it clear that she has set her sights firmly on Mampintsha, who is Babes’s husband.
In a shocking clip posted on social media Mamesh claims she is also married to Mampintsha and that she was brutally beat up Babes.
MAMESH MAKES SHOCKING CLAIMS
In a clip posted on celebrity blogger Musa Khawula’s Twitter account, Mamesh is seen firing shots at Babes Wodumo
Speaking in isiZulu, Mamesh – whose real name is Silindile Maphumulo – claims she is also married to Mampintsha, having wed in secret. She also tells Babes to forget about her concerns over Makhadzi – who the star believed was trying to pursue Mampintsha.
“uMpampintsha uthandana nami [Mampintsha is in love with me]”
Mamesh then flashes a diamond ring on her wedding ring finger and claims she doesn’t care about Mampintsha’s marital vows to the singer.
The outspoken singer then takes aim at Babes for insulting Mampintsha’s mom, warning her to “stay away” from her mother-in-law.
If that wasn’t enough to raise eyebrows, Mamesh then challenges Babes to fight in the boxing ring. She also asks Cassper Nyovest and the rest of South Africa to make it happen for her
Mamesh vows to beat up her rival and even warns her opponent to put down the alcohol during her training.
Babes has yet to respond to the challenge.
