South African actress Natasha Thahane bagged a leading role in the upcoming film Kedibone as seen in the trailer that released on 26 October.
NATASHA THAHANE BAGS LEAD ROLE IN ‘KEDIBONE’
Natasha Thahane is best-known for her role on Netflix’s Blood & Water. She is also known for being the girlfriend of Orlando Pirates player Thembinkosi Lorch. The actress has been teasing a new production in the pipeline for a few weeks now.
In October she posted a picture of herself with a camera on the side of her which looked like she was on set. Although we aren’t sure if it is the same film, she was grateful for the opportunity.
“Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to participate in Your divine plan ????,” the post was captioned.
The trailer of Kedibone shows Natasha in a prominent role. According to Zalebs, Natasha plays the role of Kedibone Manamela — a poverty stricken girl from Soweto. She gets caught up in the city life and it’s dark and sinister ways of living. Kedibone follows her passion for acting which unfortunately seems to open a door of danger as neglects her friends and drugs are in play.

NATASHA THAHANE AS ‘KEDIBONE’ AND OTHER CAST MEMBERS
Apart from Natasha, Kedibone stars Wright Ngubeni, Nolwazi Shange, Kenneth Nkosi, Tessa Twala, Thabo Malema and Busisiwe Mtshali. Kedibone centres around Natasha’s character and her boyfriend. However, she is tempted with bigger things in the city.
“Kedibone is a poor, beautiful girl from the township and an aspiring actress. Her devoted boyfriend has put himself in debt to pay for her tertiary education,” reads the synopsis of the film.
“While she is studying in Johannesburg, she starts to attract attention from rich hunks, celebrities and businessmen who promise her the affluent life she has always desired. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him, surely? Can Kedibone live a double life and enjoy the best of both worlds?” continues the synopsis.
According to the film’s Instagram biography, Kedibone is available on DSTV Box Office.
