PRODIGAL SON RETURNS

Longwe, the son of legendary musician and producer Chicco Twala, is said to have left home before Christmas as he hated living under his father’s authority.

The source says that Chicco was fuming as Longwe had gone back to drugs.

“Longwe told us he was no longer interested in staying with Chicco. He said his father liked controlling his movements. He said that he had been to rehab more than a dozen times, and found that the rehab is not like his father’s home, which is like jail,” said the source.

Another source said that Chicco has tried all he can to help Longwe fight his drug addiction, but has failed.

Chicco confirmed knowing his son’s whereabouts, saying he is in Glenvista, south of Joburg, where he now stays with his mother, Thembi Twala. Thembi and Chicco, who also share another son, Twala Twala, are divorced.
