TOL ASS MO IS SUING LERATO MOLOI

In 2018, Moloi accused Tol Ass Mo of raping her when they were shooting M-net’s MasterChef in Paarl, Western Cape.

A statement released by Moloi in 2020 revealed that the incident took place in 2014.

However, in August, the court found the Mo and Mome star innocent and he is now suing Moloi for slander and defamation as the court described her as “a dishonest, egotistical and a belligerent liar.”

Tol Ass Mo told MacG and Sol that he will also be suing all the women who called him a rapist. He counted media personalities Blue Mbombo, Thembisa Mdoda Nxumalo, Penny Lebeyane, Ntsiki Mazwai, Lebo Mashile and Rosie Motene as some of the women who attacked him.

MO DETAILS THE ALLEGATIONS AND COURT CASE

During his interview on the YouTube podcast, Tol Ass Mo — who was accompanied by his wife Mome Nale Mahlangu — spoke candidly and at length about the rape case.

The Bump The Cheese Up hitmaker shared the graphic details of Moloi’s statement which resulted in him facing two counts of rape and one count of sexual harassment that would have led to him getting 35 years to life in prison.

According to Tol Ass Mo, a few things saved him, including his alibi.

When Moloi was asked when the rape took place, she said 18 March in the evening. However, he had been on a flight back to Johannesburg from Cape Town that morning, according to a picture on his Instagram.

Moloi had told the court that they had been shooting the burger stack challenge on the day the incident happened.

“They’ve got a TV in the court so they played MasterChef. Episode one, I am there. Episode two, eliminated… the burger stack challenge was on episode five,” the comedian told the Podcast and Chill hosts, adding that episodes three to five were played and he was not on any of them.

“So, ‘Lerato [Moloi] who was the person that raped you if this person is clearly not there?’ Guess what this woman says? She says it could have been my dark aura,” Tol Ass Mo told MacG and Sol.

LERATO MOLOI’S EX-HUSBAND SUPPORTED MO

Tol Ass Mo also revealed that although Moloi had told the court that she was uncomfortable around him, a picture of him, his wife, Moloi and her then-boyfriend — former The Queen actor Vuyo Ngcukana — also served as evidence in court. The picture was shot after their 2014 gig in Paarl, but before Moloi made the rape allegations.

In addition, he said that Moloi’s ex-husband and baby daddy helped him.

“He supported me because he told me ‘Mo, I don’t believe anything this woman is saying,'” the comedian said.

He added that, according to Moloi’s ex-husband, she had abandoned their child for almost 10 years. When she wanted full custody of the child, she accused her ex-husband of molesting and abusing their child.

“The [ex] husband won… he’s got custody of the child… she tried to use the child against her ex-husband,” Tol Ass Mo added.
