The fans of media personality Lerato Kganyago are petitioning to get controversial blogger Musa Khawula arrested.

The radio DJ’s fans wrote a letter to Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, as well as Minister of Justice, Ronald Lamola, to put Musa behind bars for murder and extortion – Zimoja reports.

In March 2022, Musa stabbed his then 35-year-old ex-boyfriend, Wandile Khambule, to death in Vredenburg.

According to fans, the no-holds-barred gossip commentator has missed court a couple of times this year. The letter revealed he did not appear at the Vredenburg Magistrates Court in Western Cape on 26 January 2023 and 8 March 2023. This, however, is contrary to an article by Daily Sun on 8 March this year, reporting that Musa did appear in court on the day.

“He continues running an unregistered media business on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok while extorting money and cyberbullying the South African community. He is extorting South African public figures, politicians and celebritie using the account.

“The South African Police Services, SARS and the minister of police have ignored all of that… until Khawula kills another person and continues to bully a number of high-profile people. The bank statements show amounts from R5000 to R180 000 to remove posts that are involving high profile names,” read parts of the letter.

Musa has repeatedly taken jabs at Lerato and accused her of imitating fellow media personality Bonang Matheba. According to Lerato, Musa is also behind one of her miscarriages.

Earlier this year, he accused Lerato of sleeping with a married politician and claimed that she fell pregnant despite the star speaking candidly about her infertility battle. Musa went on to say the politician’s wife called the club DJ to order.

“Your uterus that can’t carry children had you have 10 miscarriages,” he said.

He also threatened to leak her nudes in January this year.
