Lamiez Holworthy has been defended by a number of South African celebrities — including her husband Khuli Chana — after she was targeted by cruel Twitter trolls…

The female DJ was subjected to body-shaming from fans who mocked her physical appearance in a pair of short shorts.

LAMIEZ: ‘I AM AN AFRICAN WOMAN’

On Monday, a troll’s tweet poking fun at the Metro FM DJ went viral, leading to the star trending on Twitter.

“Please tell lendoza [man] not to wear shorts…. Coz wow!,” tweeted the cruel fan.

Lamiez herself caught wind of the tweet and clapped back in a series of stern posts.

“Not to wear shorts because YOU said so?! Always these fake accounts trying to project their own insecurities on others. …I’m an African woman and will be damned by your f***ed up standards!”

The star went on to claim that she is “comfortable” in her own skin, despite the cyberbullying.

She added: “I have women of all shapes and sizes who follow me for this very reason! I have little girls who look up to me because of how comfortable I am in my own skin!

“Daily I am subjected to the constant body shaming and bullying and told to be the bigger person.”

Lamiez then went on to throw shade back at the tweep in a defiant post:

“Anyway, here’s a cool video of me in my element – in my SHORT SHORTS,” she tweeted.

“You look stunning,” she tweeted.
