Businesswoman Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco threw shade at musician Londie London on the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) which premiered on Friday 18 March.

LACONCO: ‘THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OLD MONEY & NEW MONEY’

Londie London booked the ladies of RHOD on a safari getaway to Nambiti Lodge in Ladysmith. Sorisha Naidoo took half of the ladies on a private jet, but the others had to drive so there was already tension rising.

To top that off, Londie could only secure rooms for some ladies at the lodge. She then booked all the others in at a lodge situated about 45 minutes to an hour away. On the way to meet the rest of the ladies, LaConco, Nonku Williams, Mabusi Seme, Annie Mthembu and Jojo Robinson discussed Londie’s obsession with Gucci.

Annie said that the musician would be dressed in Gucci head-to-toe, but LaConco had stronger opinions about her dressing.

“Let me tell you something about these brands. When you wear it like that, the colours tires the eyes. You can tell the difference between old money or new money,” said LaConco.

“It makes expensive look cheap,” said Mabusi.

JOJO CALLS OUT MABUSI IN FRONT OF LONDIE

While the ladies were seated at the table, Jojo told Londie that Mabusi said she makes expensive look cheap.

“Nonku said Londie might be wearing Gucci and she was right, that is what she has on,” says LaConco ask Londie wore a green Gucci skirt, a white top and a Gucci hat.

“We had a nice conversation about you Londs. Didn’t you say it looks cheap?” she asks as she looks at Mabusi.

“I feel like Jojo is a hypocrite for saying that because I didn’t tell her to repeat it,” says Mabusi.

Londie then responded to the shade form the other ladies.

“No shame, if you’re going to make designer look cheap it means you’re not wearing it right.. And that is definitely not me child. No. Also, mine is real… yours?” she said.
