This past weekend AKA performed at one of the most popular nightclubs right now — Konka. Soweto-based nightclub Konka is known as the “millionaire’s playground” because of their exorbitant prices. The nightclub is often the talk of the Twitter streets as most people seem to love the vibe.

However, Tweeps were not as impressed with AKA’s vibe at the nightclub. Take a look at his performance…

TWEEPS: ‘THE CROWD AIN’T MOVED’

Twitter users were not impressed with AKA’s performance at Konka. A Tweep thought that the rapper’s performance looked “stale.” He went on to say that AKA was lip-syncing some of the songs instead of rapping live.

“I could be wrong mara Okare Aka o wele. I’m seeing the videos of him performing now at konka and it’s stale. The crowd ain’t moved. He even lip syncing to some tracks. Also that poll of artist of the decade. People hardly voted for him,”

However, a fan jumped in to AKA’s defence pointing out that he does not campaign for the nightclub like other artists.

“But he is not campaigning for them though like other artists,” commented a Tweep.

AKA TAKES OVER ZAMBIA

Last week AKA jetted off to Zambia for a performance which seems to be a lot better than Konka. His energy was well received by the audience who cheered him on.
