The King woke up from the table as his wife Camilla took the pen into her hands.

“Oh look, it’s going everywhere,” she said.

King Charles III and Camilla then attempted to clean the ink off their fingers.

“I can’t bear this bloody thing! What they do, every stinking time,” he said.

Queen consort Camilla then used a new pen to sign the book while the King left the room.

TWEEPS WEIGH IN

Twitter users have weighed in and some have stated that the King’s mother, Queen Elizabeth II would never have behaved like that.

“I manage to use an inadequate pen quite frequently without throwing a little tantrum that requires several of my little employees to manage,” wrote @DistantWindow.

“The Queen would never have behaved like that. Not even when she was a young woman who found herself suddenly called to rule after the equally sudden loss of her father,” wrote @DodgeRambl3r.

While others defended the King.

“Give him a break. He’s 73 years old, how much sleep do you think he’s had, how much travel, in the last few days? As he mourns his mother? ‘Even royalty’. His mother passed away only days ago,” wrote @brigantia__.

“Imagine your Mother dies and instead of grieving, you have to fill in multiple mortgage applications, get a visit from the tax man (IRS), attend meetings with the MD, all while being filmed. That’s probably a similar feeling to what Charles is going through,” wrote @CanDisagree.
