Kim Kardashian breaks down over Kanye, Drake affair rumours

Reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian broke down over her ex-husband Kanye West and opened up about the rumours he started about her having an affair with Canadian rapper Drake on the first episode of the third season of The Kardashians, which aired on Hulu on Friday 19 May.

KIM KARDASHIAN ON DRAKE AFFAIR RUMOURS

On the season premiere of The Kardashians, Kim broke down in tears as she revealed that her ex-husband Kanye West was the person behind the rumours that she cheated on him with Canadian rapper Drake. Kim and Kanye married in 2014 and their divorce was finalised in November 2022. The pair share four children — North (9), Saint (7), Chicago (5) and Psalm (4).

Kanye openly tried to win Kim back but did not succeed. In January this year it was reported that the rapper married head of architecture at Yeezy Bianca Censori.

In a conversation with momager Kris Jenner, Kim revealed that Kanye was the one that hurt her the most.

“The one who was supposed to protect me and still does interviews saying he will be my forever protector, he is the one who hurt me the most,” she said according to The Mirror.

“He was the one that started a rumour that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair. Our whole marriage, he accused me of that publicly,” she continued.

According to the publication, rumours of Kim having an affair with Drake first started circulating in 2018. She addressed the claims back then on Instagram “never happened. End of story.”

THE REALITY STAR BREAKS DOWN OVER KANYE WEST

Kim told Kris that she spent the morning having an “anxiety attack” because of comments made by Kanye.

“So the person that’s supposed to protect me the most, publicly would accuse me of having an affair our whole marriage. I really can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector,” she said.

“There’s been a lot going on with Kanye right now and things are going on in the media, radio shows and interviews,” she continued.

The Skims founder said that Kanye has made up the “most insane narrative” surrounding her sex tape with Ray J and her mother. She explained that Kanye “looks down on her” because of the sex tape and brings it up whenever he can.

“I just get really heartbroken for my mom that she has to deal with so much,” she said in a confessional.
