‘Kiernan will be there with you’: AKA’s mom to Nadia on gig return
AKA’s mom Lynn Forbes comforted his girlfriend Nadia Nakai as she had her first gig at Rockets on Friday 24 March, since his death.

Lynn Forbes, the mom of rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, sent some sweet words of encouragement to rapper Nadia Nakai as she made her return to work with her first gig on Friday 24 March.
AKA was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

“Kiernan will be there with you, in spirit, every step of the way. Chin up beautiful, you’ve got this and we’ve got you,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Friday 24 March.
