South African comedian Sipho Alphi recently shared a funny video on his Instagram account where he pretended that ‘his mother wants him to join the Russia and Ukraine war’.
The video which is titled ‘my mother signed me for the war’ has been viewed over 900k times on Instagram and has gotten the attention of South African celebrities such as Khanyi Mbau, Zenande Mfenyane, former Miss SA Ntando Kunene, and more.

SIPHO ALPHI: ‘SHOTS FIRED, DUCK THE BOMB’
Sipho Alphi recently left South African celebrities such as Khanyi Mbau, Sidwell Ngwenya in stitches with his hilarious video about the war in Russia and Ukraine.
In the video, the comedian says that his mother has signed him up for the war because he’s a slob who parties a lot and isn’t productive enough.
He pretends to be his mother in the video and states:
“Hey Clever, there was a man here earlier who was looking for the names of people who want to sign up for the war.”
“I have signed you up. I am tired of your fast lifestyle. I want you to go into the war and do something productive. You got home after 2 am last night.”
“You’re busy ducking buckets of Savana beers there at Konka.
“Now you’ll be ducking bombs in the war. Duck the bombs!”
“Shots fired…shots shots.”
“God be with you!”
