Khanukani, the daughter of Khanyi Mbau, has blossomed overnight.
It wasn’t long ago that the young girl – whose dad is former businessman Mandla Mthembu – was a tiny toddler.
Today, she is a 15-year-old “digital content creator” who is clearly following in her mom’s glamorous footsteps – false lashes, full face beat and all!
KHANUKANI: BEFORE AND AFTER
Up until recently, pictures of a fresh-faced Khanukani and her mother Khanyi Mbau could be found on the Internet.
Following her 15th birthday last week, Khanukani debuted a totally new transformation.
She stepped out with a blonde lace front wear, lime green nails, a face full of make-up and a wardrobe that put mommy dearest to shame.
KHANYI MBAU SHARES MESSAGE TO HER MINI-ME
Khanyi Mbau – who recently shot down rumours that Khanukani is pregnant – took to her Instagram to share a special birthday greeting.
She wrote alongside a picture of the teen before her glam photoshoot: “You are becoming a solid woman now. It’s been a privilege to get to know you and watch you evolve”.
“All the lessons we have imparted as family are the guidelines that will protect you and help you achieve what you have set out for yourself. Remember you are unique, a great soul and have a huge life awaiting you. You are going to be a success”.
Khanyi Mbau also noted her daughter’s big girl makeover.
She added: “It’s fascinating watching you fiddle with wigs, nails, fashion and make up! But remember you make all of it beautiful because it’s the soul that holds the sparkle and you shine my angel”.

Khanyi also reminded her daughter that despite her exterior, she should “never forget her inner child”.
She added: “The world is noisy, keep dancing, the world is cruel, stay soft, the world is broken, be the glue. The experience is to feel, but never forget the inner child laugh!”.
