Who is Kanye West’s new ‘girlfriend’? Five things to know about Julia Fox

American rapper Kanye West is reportedly dating actress Julia Fox amid his divorce proceedings from reality star Kim Kardashian. 

KANYE WEST IS DATING JULIA FOX 

Julia Fox was spotted out on a romantic date night with Kanye West at Carbone restaurant in Miami on 1 December. The actress first said she “didn’t know” if there would be a second date but inside sources claimed the pair are officially dating.

“Julia and Ye are dating. They both just got out of their former relationships, and they’ve helped each other recover immensely,” said a source to Page Six.

“They’re kind of kindred spirits, and it’s cool to watch,” the source continued.

The pair also went on another date to a Broadway show in New York City.

So, it appears Julia may actually be Kanye’s new girlfriend, but what do we know about the actress?

1. JULIA’S ‘BIG BREAK’ WAS HER ROLE IN ‘UNCUT GEMS’

The actress got her “big break” starring alongside Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems in 2019. She played the role of Julia De Fiore. 

“It was pretty easy, I would say. It’s not rocket science. Just like act and react, and memorize your lines. You really have to be able to let go lose control, and destroy your ego,” she said to Refinery29.

“You’re not you, you have to let go of yourself and be this whole other person, and really feel the scene that you’re in. There is an art to it. You either have it or you don’t, I think,” she continued. 

2. JULIA’S SHORT-LIVED CAREER AS A DOMINATRIX

The actress worked as a dominatrix in her teens. She previously explained that she found the advert on Craigslist and it appealed to he because it said no nudity and no sex.

“This was back when Craigslist still had an ‘adult gigs’ section. I was scrolling, and in between ads for prostitutes, I clicked on one that said ‘no nudity, no sex.’ That appealed to me,” she said to Rolling Stone.

“You’re given a few words on what the client’s interests are and then you have to build from there and improvise the rest. So imagine having to do that multiple times a day in different outfits — a nun, teacher, nurse, mom — according to the clients’ desires. I went in an angsty teenager and left a really self-assured woman,” she continued.

3. SHE WORKED ODD JOBS 

Before her on-screen debut Julia worked a number of odd jobs from working at a shoe shop to an ice cream parlour.

5. SHE WAS MARRIED TO PILOT PETER ARTEMIEV

The actress married pilot Peter Artemiev in 2018 and welcomed their son Valentino in January 2021. 

Julia slammed Artemiev for being a “deadbeat” dad and an alcoholic. 

“This man left me with a 5-month-old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS. It’s wrong!!! It’s not fair. I can’t even do it anymore. I just don’t want my son f–ked up cuz he feels like his dad was absent or loved alcohol and partying more than him,” she wrote on Instagram.
