THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT

The “Black Lives Matter” movement started after the fatal shoot of Trayvon Martin in 2013. This movement was intended to highlight racism, discrimination, police brutality and more.

Popular writer and podcaster Jemele Hill slammed the rapper for being “foolish”.

“So many folks are trying to excuse Kanye wearing a white lives matter t-shirt as just a troll move or marketing. Maybe it is,” she wrote.

“But it’s a dangerously dumb message to send for someone with his massive platform. I been off dude. But y’all go ahead labelling his foolishness as genius,” she wrote.
