Julius Malema, Cassper attend DJ Sumbody’s funeral [WATCH]

Julius Malema, Cassper Nyovest and the family of Oupa “DJ Sumbody” Sefako gathered in Limpopo on Saturday to bid farewell the musician.

The family of the late Oupa “DJ Sumbody” Sefako and friends such as Cassper Nyovest and EFF leader Julius Malema gathered at Apel Fourways Cross in Ga-Masemola, Limpopo on Saturday, 26 November to bid farewell to the music star.

DJ SUMBODY: FUNERAL

The businessman DJ Sumbody, real name Oupa Sefako, who was friends with Cassper Nyovest and Julius Malema died in the early hours of Sunday, 20 November.  

Sunday Worlds reports that the DJ was on his way to a gig before his annual All White party when unknown people opened fire at his vehicle in Woodmead, Johannesburg, killing him on the spot.  

The DJ and his bodyguards were travelling on Woodmead Drive in Johannesburg when his car was stopped and started shooting them.  

The publication adds that a third person, also believed to be one of DJ Sumbody’s bodyguards, is still in critical condition in a hospital.  

CASSPER NYOVEST PERFORMS ‘MONATE MPOLAYE’  

Daily Sun reports that Sefako’s friend and musician Cassper Nyovest performed their hit song MONATE MPOLAYE at his funeral service.  

Rapper Khuli Chana was also present at the funeral while Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Commander in Chief Julius Malema shared a few words with the mourners.  

“Oupa, we failed you. Like many others, you are a victim of a mafia state, failed state. Robala mfanaka mara I’m not ok”, said Malema.
