His & Hers: Isn’t it time for Thuli and DJ Maphorisa to confess?
Tweeps think DJ Maphorisa bought actress Thuli Phongolo an expensive gift while he was in the Middle East for the Dubai Expo 2020.

Following the DJ gig they played together, DJ Maphorisa posted a photo of “his and her” watches with his rumoured bae, actress Thuli Phongolo.
DJ MAPRHORISA AND THULI PHONGOLO ROMANCE RUMOURS
DJ Maphorisa and Thuli Phongolo sparked romance rumours after a cozy video of them went viral on Twitter on 12 October.
Since then the pair have been the hot topic amongst Tweeps. At first Tweeps were just speculating that DJ Maphorisa and Thuli were romantically linked but after more videos of the pair emerged the conversation got heated. Tweeps thought that DJ Maphorisa did not deserve the “light skin” beauty because of his darker skin tone, sparking concerns of colourism.
This quickly jumped to Tweeps accusing Thuli of “using” DJ Maphorisa for his “serious” money and to further her DJ career. Just a week later, the pair played a gig together at Jojo Rooftop Lounge at Maboneng Lifestyle Centre in Johannesburg on Thursday 21 October. Tweeps quickly noticed the pair’s chemistry at the gig. While other Tweeps said they knew DJ Maphorisa would “supply gigs”.

HIS AND HERS WATCHES
Following the performance Thuli took to Twitter to admit that she was nervous to play a gig with the DJ. In her tweet she quoted Vice President of the US Kamala Harris when she told US President Joe Bidden they won the election – “we did it Joe”.
“We did it Joe!!! I was so nervous to play with Phori but ke! ????????????,” she wrote on Twitter.
DJ Maphorisa posted a snap of “his and her” watches on his Instagram story which looked like Thuli’s hand. The Lorch hitmaker spent the last week in Dubai for the Dubai Expo 2020. While in the Middle East, DJ Maphorisa forked out R1.5 million on a watch at Cartier.

Tweeps also seemed to think the Midnight Starring hitmaker brought the watch for Thuli from Dubai.
