FAMILY THANKS MZANSI FOR THE CONDOLENCES

In a statement released by the Tshabalala family and shared on social media by TKZee member, Zwai Bala, on Monday, it was revealed that Magesh suffered an epileptic seizure.

His family has thanked fans, friends, family and others for their condolences during this difficult time.

“As a family we would like to thank everyone for the immense outpour of love, condolences and well wishes. Tokollo was a son, a brother, a cousin, a mentor, a guardian, and a great artist that inspired many,” the statement on Thursday read.

TRIBUTES ARE STILL POURING IN

The Shibobo star was the son of former Orlando Pirates player, Stanley “Screamer” Tshabalala. When news of his passing broke, the soccer team conveyed its condolences to Tshabalala — who is the club’s director.

As per Daily Sun, TKZee’s manager, Refiloe Ramogase, said Zwai Bala and Kabelo Mabalane are “not okay” following Magesh’s death. The two kwaito stars formed part of TKZee with Magesh.

“This is like losing a sibling and this is why they are not speaking to the media right now. They are going through a lot,” said Ramogase.

Celebrities such as Khuli Chana, who featured Magesh on his hit song Hape Le Hape 2.1 in 2013, said that Magesh was his idol and brother.
