PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE IN ‘FLOP ERA’

Rolling Stone Magazine says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in their “flop era” as they are going through a period of failure. This comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lost lucrative deals with streaming giant Spotify.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Harry and Meghan ended their podcasting deal with Spotify. There will not be a second season of the pair’s podcast Archetypes despite launching at the top of charts, a source confirmed to The New York Post. Meghan hosted Archetypes with a series of different guests including Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling and Serena Williams.

The podcast was created to “investigate, dissect and subvert the labels that try to hold women back.”

Rolling Stone reported that the part of the reason the couple are going through a period of failure is because they made their brand about their beef with the royal family. And now it seems that there isn’t much more to say.

Reports have since claimed that Spotify was unhappy with the pair’s lack of engagement for the deal worth £15 million (R357 million). The couple quit their duties as working members of the royal family in 2020.

NO END IN SITE FOR HARRY AND MEGHAN’S DEAL WITH NETFLIX

However, on a lighter note – there seems to be no end in site for Prince Harry and Meghan partnership with Netflix.

A spokesperson told People that they have several projects in the works including the Heart of Invictus docuseries. After the couple quit their royal duties and moved to California, they signed a multiyear deal with the global streaming giant. (symboliamag.com)

In December 2022, Netflix released their docuseries Harry & Meghan, which looked at their love story and decision to leave the UK. The publication reports that the show was the biggest documentary debut week in Netflix history.
